""Isla Bonita""
I lived in Puerto Rico for almost 4 years and i think it is a beautiful place. If you prefere the quiet areas there are great resorts near the beach far from the city. There you will enjoy the sites of big green mountains, trees full of delicious fruits, and beaches of white sand. As you bask in the warm rays of the radiant sun you will enjoy the feel of the white grain sand on your feet almost like a natural exfoliant. You will be amazed by the colors; everything you look at is full of rich color. Puerto Rico has these trees called: Flamboyan, which are beautiful, trees that intead of green leaves it has bright red. It looks they are on fire. The streets are so full of life all the time; no matter what time it is, there is something always going on. At times late at night the soft sound of traditional instruments playing a calm melody will put you to sleep. If that doesn't work then maybe the sound of the "Coki" (for puerto ricans a coki is like the bald eagle is to the U.S.) will do the trick. Early in the morning you might get woken up by the smell of "cafe con leche" (coffe and milk) very common with Puerto Ricans. But what is better than enjoying a traditional cooked meal near the beach after all the sight seeing, your taste buds will be blown away after tasting the perfectly seasoned meal compe with rice, beans, pork chops, and a couple of slices of "aguacate" (avocado). The perfet ending for a day of amazement...
